This book features a comprehensive photography essay of SESC Pompéia. The project, designed by Lina Bo Bardi, is located in São Paulo SP, Brazil. This cultural and sport center, part of the SESC program, might be the most important work by Lina Bo Bardi. The center is located on a former industry complex, plus a couple of new concrete towers. Lina worded on site for more than eight years, developing the brief and the project in direct contact with the community. The final result shows that arduous work, which can also be seen in each part of the building.

Leonardo Finotti is today one of the leading architectural photographers worldwide. Finotti´s images bring us an extremely depurated vision which takes us close to the essence of each project.
