Über das Buch
Forty-two stunning photographs and informational text take readers on a journey through the alphabet and with the monarch butterfly from its northern most haunts in eastern Canada and the United States to its magical wintering sites in the mountains of Mexico.
The story of the monarch butterfly captures our hearts and imagination. It is the story of an insect that makes the longest migration of any insect in the world. It is the story of three nations - Canada, the United States and Mexico working together to conserve, maintain and create habitats of milkweed meadows, butterfly gardens and oyamel forests.
It is also a story of hope ... hope that we can make the world a better place for people and monarch butterflies.
