Über das Buch
My Mother died suddenly and tragically on November 9th, 2007, 3 weeks after my wedding. She was my best friend, my inspiration, my wisdom, and I didn't know what I would do without her.
My Father spent hours every day scanning over 700 of her drawings, pastels, watercolors into the computer and suddenly I could take her whole collection of art with me. Inspiration struck!
From July '07 to January '09 I would gaze through the pieces of art and then choose one to write a poem to. Every day. It was my hug to her, my closeness.
This book contains most of these poems and art pieces. May they inspire, comfort, tickle, and thrill you.
With love,
Betina Hershey Russo
