An unauthorized photographic distillation of the punk rock documentary The Decline of Western Civilization of 1981.
140 pages in large format with over 580 stills from the movie retaining it’s VHS quality film grain. This film had a great impact on the author and led to a life of swimming upstream, questioning authority and a DIY attitude to art making. I felt it was a loss that this film continued to languish in obscurity so frame by frame I captured images that spoke to me of the anger, intensity and the people who lived it.
