Über das Buch
The term ”beauty" as chosen in the title of this book relates to three dimensions of meaning pertinent to the book's endeavor. One dimension is that of the awe inspiring radiant beauty available to us in the natural world--from that in a grain of sand to that of the galaxies. Another dimension relates to the term hozho as I came to understand it, while living among the Navajo Indians and because of my interest in their culture--a term connoting balance, harmony, and well being, among other nuanced meanings within Navajo culture.
A third dimension, which for me resonates with the second, relates to the ideas of blessing, holiness, and wholeness as I have come to understand them within a broader religious context.
