This is the Project Jericho 2008 Youth Summit evaluation book. The Youth Summit is an interactive day with middle school students designed to get youth to start thinking about their future through the theme words of Tolerance, Exploration and Courage.
Project Jericho is a collaboration between the Clark State Performing Arts Program and Job & Family Services of Clark County which offers positive, high-quality arts experiences to local at-risk youth and families. The program is based on research that demonstrates the positive impact of arts programs on at-risk youth and families, including (among other indicators) decreases in delinquent behavior and court referrals, increased communication and social skills, and improved ability to complete home and school tasks.
