These photopaintings combine the documentary feel of a photograph with the freedom and expression of more traditional fine art techniques. It has been my goal over the last few years to blend the two crafts and create the unique pieces you see here. The style lends itself particularly well to the beauty, grace and power of the equine world and to the ruggedness of the working western ranch.



Most of the pieces included in this book are available as framed art. Many began as private commissions. Commissions begin with a personal photo session, followed shortly thereafter by a presentation of photopainting pieces created specifically for you.
