Über das Buch
Bob Graham, with the assistance of Alastair Johnston and Leslie Graham, has brought together, in one unique volume, cover illustrations and plot summaries from two hundred and thirty-two golf murder mysteries published over the last century.
GOLF CAN BE MURDER! is Graham’s survey of a genre of fiction which may not be familiar to many readers and golfers. This entertaining anthology provides a comprehensive history of golf detective novels and golf murder mysteries. For ten decades, readers have discovered and enjoyed these murder mysteries set in the world of golf. The creativity and skills of the authors, as represented here by plot summaries, have provided many hours of delightful mystery reading for golfers and non-golfers alike. The artistry of the illustrators is evident as one peruses these imaginative golf murder mystery book covers and dust jackets.
GOLF CAN BE MURDER! also includes twenty-three parodies of the golf murder mystery genre written by Bob Graham. Bob induced family and friends to become golf murder “victims” for his spoofs.
