Winter Wonderland is a collection of photos from the Uinta Mountains in Southwestern Wyoming. It shows the beauty that is often taken for granted. It takes the viewer on a tour just after the first storms of winter.



Common items become unique as they are discovered by Gary and the two cats, Yazmine and GreyEagle. Although Yaz is a Siamese cat from Las Vegas who prefers the heat and the big city, even she is intrigued by wonderful Wyoming in the winter.



Some things are not so common. The burl in an aspen tree, "Spirit Dog", is truly extraordinary. Perhaps it is the ghost of a dog belonging to an Indian or to an early pioneer.



And the tracks left as a mountain lion wandered past the cabin at night were something special. Yaz, however, didn't want to meet her distant relative since the footprints were as big as her head.
