Two little Princesses wish more than anything to visit the Village-Across-the-Moor, but the moor is filled with terrible monsters and promises certain death for the girls should they try to cross it. One night, their kindness to a stranger is rewarded with a marvelous gift - a Pikesspie Hound, one of the legendary dogs who have protected children crossing the moor for centuries. The Princesses' wish can come true at last, but will visiting the village be worth the life of their beautiful, beloved Hound?
