Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against colour. After all, that's the way life is. But when it comes to photographs, sometimes I think colours get in the way. Shouting their heads off about hue and saturation, drowning out the subtler things. Things like shape, tone, light and shade.



These are a few pictures that I hope let those subtler elements have their day.
