At the end of November 2005 I had the romantic idea to cycle to my girlfriend in Croatia. From the Netherlands that was some 1500 km. I’ve spent all the nights at members of Hospitality Club and similar. This trip made me fall in love with winter cycling.



October 2008 I cycled to Berlin. The romantic looks of Mother Nature reminded me of painting of Caspar David Friedrich. In the old National Gallery I saw 14 of his amazing paintings.



2008 I was in amazing Albania, summer this time, nice and hot. It is a very beautiful country, moreover it's people are extremely sweet and joyous.
