De natuur schrijft:
Het was in Finland jaren 90 en later nog duidelijker op Grand Canaria 2014, dat ik, op zoek naar abstracte beelden, voor het eerst ontdekte, hoe een grote verscheidenheid aan natuurlijke vormen, frappante gelijkenis vertoont met zinnen, letters en tekens in de taal.
Vooral de rietpartijen in de vele meren van Scandinavië en de Baltische staten, tonen In het late avondlicht, als de wind gaat liggen en het wateroppervlak geheel stil valt, een schitterend schouwspel van op tekst gelijkende abstracte vormen en kleuren. Hoogtepunten: Matsalu (Estland) en Gauja (Letland). Maar ook de cactussen in Marokko (Marakech), de halfdode bomen in de Harz en de uitgebloeide min of meer verdorde grasplanten in Griekenland zijn boeiende voorbeelden van gedichten door de natuur.
Een nieuw thema was ontstaan.
