In 2003 I set out on a project to take 1000 portraits. When I finished I created several Blurb books to preserve them. Since then, I continued to make portraits. This book includes portraits I've taken since the '1000' project ended... from about 2008 up until May of 2016. These latest portraits are encounters with ten or so subjects over several sessions and years. They typically involve a great deal of "post-production" work in order to evoke a period or a mood. Thanks to all my subjects!
