Über das Buch
Beginning his final year of college, Kurt Strickland, a student with a hobby of exploring abandoned buildings, decides to take a class in order to improve his photography skills. The class reunites him with Alissa McGinley, a long-lost friend and bright journalism student, who proposes that they work together on a class project: a photo shoot in an abandoned house that formerly belonged to Alissa's grandparents. Upon their arrival, they discover a secret graveyard hidden behind the house and clues that suggest that the final grave has not yet been dug, including the appearance of two strange men who seem to be following them. Along with Autumn Vaughan, Kurt's best friend and roommate who is still haunted by demons from her past, the three of them work together to discover the sinister secret behind a bizarre family ritual that may put all of them in peril.

Über den Autor
Since February 3, 2012, I have been exploring, photographing and documenting abandoned locations. Most of my exploits take place in the state of Ohio but I have also traveled to other states including Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York and Virginia. I feel that it is a shame to allow buildings to fall into disrepair and eventually cease to exist without properly documenting their histories. Capturing them in an abandoned state also provides the opportunity to show how man-made structures withstand nature and other factors once man no longer has use for them.
