"Back in the day" the "Black Barber Shop" was a place where Afro Americans would come to not only get "styled" and a haircut but would come to hear and discuss the local,national and sports news of the week. That has not changed over the years. My photographs are but a "snapshot" of the long standing tradition of coming to the "Barber Shop."
