The 2008 Maple Grove Football team became the New York Class D State Champions and along the way had an unbeaten season, broke 11 school records, scored the most points ever in WNY high school football, and defeated their final opponent at Syracuse University's Carrier Dome by one of the highest totals ever in a NY State High School Football Championship game.



From a pre-season precaution to not expect this team to be as dominant as in years' past, the 2008 lineup instead went on to a remarkable season, dominating opponent after opponent and leaving their mark as arguably the best gridiron team ever assembled at Maple Grove High School and one of the most powerful and 'best shows on turf' in New York State.
