Über das Buch
The Clay Fire series of images were photographed in the high desert village of Galisteo, New Mexico. There are 57 photographs, black-and-white and color, mainly of horses, clay bowl making, and firing. The round clay bowls, the runs of the horses in the ring, and the circling path of turkey vultures are all part of a recurrent rhythm overhead and underfoot.
