Since leaving the states in 1943, Tom had either seen, visited or been in the territorial waters of the following countries: New Zealand, Tasmania, Australia, Ceylon, India, Egypt, Arabia, Egyptian Sudan, Malta, North Africa, Sicily and the Azores.

This is his story about his experiences in those locations and his experience in the United States Air Corps, later named the United States Air Force.
