The photos and excerpts in this collection represent a personal journal for 2008. The photos were shot in my travels in the northeast, the excerpts are from a range of sources - on issues I have been thinking about. The research was an exercise in understanding something I thought I already understood - my american identity. The photos are postcards I mail to myself as reminders of places I have grown to love.
