Über das Buch
In April and May, 2009, a group of 22 students accompanied Jack and Kathy Zarker on a trip to view the places we had studied for the previous nine months. As in previous trips with the group, the focus was on Greco-Roman history, but with interest also in other aspects of the countries we were visiting.
Among the fascinating features of this area were the places that showed the transition from Paganism to Christianity during the time of the Empire. In this regard, three places in particular stand out: In Albania, Butrint; and in Croatia, Porec and Split/Solin. This book shows a little of what we saw and learned.
