This expedition brought us to the continent of Africa covering parts of South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. The beautiful scenery and spectacular landscape in South Africa swept us all away. The mighty Zambezi river and awesome Victoria Falls took our breath away in Zambia and Zimbabwe. The excitement of wildlife safaris were certainly a highlight which will be etched in our minds for a long time to come. We saw the Big 5 at Kruger National Park, South Africa. The Chobe River and the Chobe National Park in Botswana is full of amazing birds and wildlife. It was a privilege to be able to see these wildlife in action in their natural habitat.

We travelled with Playaway Tours from New Zealand. It was very professionally run and the people were all extremely friendly and helpful. Some of us had previously travelled together with Playway Tours to South America and we published a photo book then entitled “From Rio to Galapagos”. On popular requests we hereby put together another book for this Africa adventure.

We made many friends in this adventure and it was a pleasure to travel with this group. We hope that sometime in future we can all relive the happy memories by flipping through the pages in this book over a glass of wine. Cheers!
