This book is a compendium of four projects that demonstrates the use of a freeware program for creating 3-D globes as anaglyphs and stereograms from cylindrical map projection images of planets and other objects. An additional 3D format using the color stereoscopic effect is also described. Applications for non-mapping projects as well as useful 3D tips are given as a fourth project.
