‘Unfinished Madrid’ focuses on the mapping and interrogative study of the consequences of the shift from luxury to austerity in Spain exemplified by its unfinished buildings, and fringe ghost town urbanisations. It uses the incomplete concrete mass housing skeletons for the purpose of social regeneration. Material testing and modelling was explored in depth in the studio.
