A symphony in five movements set in a 5/4 time signature throughout, and likely to be the first example of its kind in the world.

The symphony makes heavy technical demands on players in terms of using the full range of their instruments, and hence would be beyond the capacity of all but the most highly motivated amateur or professional orchestras.

The instrumental parts are to be found following the score, and are sorted into the order that they appear in a score.

Christchurch, New Zealand

Born 1940, in New Zealand Army 1960 -1964 serving in Malaya for two years. Founded the Ron Naylor Art School in 1964. Trained as an organist and compose for that instrument, choral works, piano works, organ works, and symphonies for orchestra. Started breeding rhododendrons in 1985, but none registered as yet. Forced out of Christchurch, New Zealand in 2011 by earthquake damage, and now live nearby in Prebbleton. Not quite poor as a church mouse, but I'm working on it !
