Six degrees of separation is the idea that all living things and everything else in the world are six or fewer steps away from each other, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.
This exhibit was an effort to learn about art, past and present, that is connected to our town. All art in the show was submitted by Dillsboro residents representing their work, or that of a relative or work they have collected. Art from Dillsboro to California, Minnesota, Chicago and a collection from world travels graced our walls and connected our community.
