Chrys not only believes in multiculturalism. He is an example of it: born from a family with German, Galician Portuguese (942 AD), and Brazilian on his father side, Portuguese-Jewish (dating back to 1500's) on his mother side. Has published several books and articles since 1972 , organises 2 colloquia every year and edits a literary magazine for Colóquios da Lusofonia AICL.
