Around the Christmas in 2018, Hiroyuki Ito was hired by a Peruvian sandwich company to photograph their restaurants for a week.
He was lured by their pitch that he could eat all the sandwiches he wanted.
They own 10 branches in Lima and at the end of second day, he already ran out of his visual vocabularies. He felt the need to get outside. Besides, It was about time to try out local cuisines other than sandwiches.
