"Wabi-Sabi World: An Artist's Search" grew out of a senior seminar and thesis project on the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi. It has been called an art and a philosophy, an aesthetic and a way of life. Few have written on this topic, but it is this author's hope that her academic research, creative writing and photography can shed some light on the mystery of wabi-sabi.
