Nearly three decades ago, my mother’s parents moved across the country to the then small city of Oro Valley to escape the busy metropolitan life of Northern Virginia. Over the years, my family has made countless visits across the country to visit them in their lush desert wonderland home. Each visit kindled my love for the geography and culture American Southwest. These photos hope to capture some of this love.
