Über das Buch
Living in a former palace. London’s elusive light. Animals. Dreams. Memories of an English countryside childhood.
Generated from years of unpublished photography newly sequenced and designed, through various photographic formats THE LIGHT THAT'S LOST takes the reader through a self-reflective portrait and confession of Paul's interpretation of his pursuit for light. In a poetic muse on his life, he develops a narrative through his images and writing, seeing from his present into the past remembered anew, imagined future and a search for the lost.
Investigation, memoir, visual essay and fiction convene through photography and writing in Paul Vernon’s personal debut book. The first book in his new Candlelight Flavoured Bubblegum series.
