Über das Ebook
ICE - SCAPES could have been for « Icelandic landscapes »… but actually that’s more for « Icelandic escapes »
Amateur photographer for ages, I discovered by chance this isolated piece of ice and lava in the North Atlantic as a volcanic substitute for faraway countries where I used to go.
Since then I’ve never quit – at least my mind has not.
I felt in love with this land of solitary freedom, of rich culture and unique vistas.
Few years and many escapades – escapes - later, wonder remains intact in front of this enchanting, mysterious country, with its so magical light. Here is my attempt to show how one can escape there… and my tribute to a land that is giving me so much.
All pictures copyrighted 2007-2012

Belgian 38-year-old photographer, my goal has always been to share. Share my perception of beauty in our surrounding world, from the majesty and solitude of the Icelandic landscapes, to the smooth curves of the human body, for example ... Share and try to convey to the viewer, with the greatest fidelity, the emotions felt while taking the picture. Photography is a communication tool, one of the best means of expression available.
