Back In 1876 the Commercial Yeast we know today was exhibited for the first time in the USA and the modern day process of bread baking was commenced, however was this really bread Prior to this, Sourdough cultures were used in the process of bread baking. Maybe what we didn't know back then was that when they changed to commercial yeast, we stopped making "Real Bread".
