I am a student nurse at the University of Memphis currently going into my final year there. During my second semester of nursing school, i experienced a heartbreak that led to a depressive episode. All of my life I have been passionate about happiness and depression and the effects of them both. As I experienced my depressive episode, I wanted to write a book about happiness from the point of view of an unhappy person, as I didn't want to be bias in my writing. I have given many presentations about happiness and depression, in front of the top professors and administration of Loewenberg College of Nursing, so this is something I am very passionate about and just another step on my journey.
