Greg Boyd has been a painter, a print-maker, and a writer for the past forty years.
As a visual artist he has had one man shows of both his relief prints and his paintings, and his prints and surrealist-inspired photomontages have appeared on book and magazine covers, record albums, and fashion apparel. Boyd has written and/or illustrated, edited, and translated over a dozen books of fiction, poetry, and literary criticism, including, most recently, the multimedia novel The Nambuli Papers. For ten years he edited and published the literary and art magazine Asylum. He is the founding editor and publisher of Asylum Arts books.
A short film based on his story "Three-Cornered Hat" has been aired on PBS stations around the country. He also wrote the screenplay for the indie feature film Seven Fallen Objects. His web site (www.gregboydcaveart.com) features his most recent paintings, inspired by the prehistoric cave art of France and Spain.
