I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1968, and spent my childhood residing in both South Africa and Australia. This diverse upbringing has resulted in my unusual and imaginative art.

I have had a passion for photography ever since I received my first camera, a Kodak Box Brownie, for my 6th Birthday. Since then, I’ve been snapping away, freezing moments in time.

Over time, my photography turned to art, and I found I was not content to simply capture images – I took up the challenge of discovering the extraordinary in normal, everyday life.

My passion is to inspire the imagination.

I do this by capturing images photographically, and then digitally editing the original image to achieve something distinctive and extraordinary.

I hope that you get as much enjoyment out of my books as I have had in creating them.
