Born in France, brought up in Brazil. Fluent in French, English and Portuguese. Speaks Spanish, a bit of Italian and low level German. Graduated from MIT ('62). Fourteen dramas written and produced on Brazilian TV, one 90-minute drama for the "On being black" series on W-GBH in Boston in the 60's - only non-black writer to do so. Written several one-act plays which were produced (Boston Theater Co.) or used as exercises in drama schools. Directed plays in Brazil, the U.S. and Venezuela. Five Boit prizes for short stories at MIT. Many articles and non-fiction published from TV Guide to the Harvard Business Review, from the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine to the Wall Street Journal, from Manchete (Brazil) to L'Express (France's equivalent to Time magazine). Manager and editor, for 2 years, of L'Express international advertising supplements. Management consultant by profession. Partially responsible for administration and logistics for the Brazilian National Soccer team.
