My photographic work is rooted in identity of time, place, and people.

The transience of all that is natural influences and challenges my photographic work so that I may create shareable moments.

My images will derive from a decisive moment or a constructed space. I delve into the deeper aspects of what forms identities. I may take a nostalgic approach by using vernacular photographs in present time to coalesce a new or continued narrative or I will maintain a traditionalist approach of picturing landscape or time just as it is seen in that one fleeting moment.

Japanese Haiku is the main form of poetry in my work. Occasionally I will use ballad or free verse. Words overflow from my soul. Once released, it may be weeks, months, or years before more emerge.

May they touch you as deeply as they have touched me.
