Dr. Serina is an active solo practicing medical doctor of 26 years in Long Beach, CA, now pro bono and engaged in self-financed medical missions. He graduated and had Anesthesiology residency in Far Eastern University in Manila, had Psychiatric residency in Southwestern State, Virginia. and in Cherry Hospital, North Carolina; and was Board Qualified in Emergency Medicine.

He had Postgraduate in Allergy and Immunology, Aerospace Medicine and Battlefield Medicine in Lackland, USAF, Texas, and he exited his tour of duty as Lt. Col. USAF MC. proceeding to private Family Practice. He held medical licenses in the Philippines, Nepal, West Virginia where he practised for five years, and here in California. He held Medical Directorships in Emergency Dept. Raleigh General Hospital, WVa., Subacute-Neuro Unit, Pacific Hospital and Cater Manor Hospital, LB, CA.
