Sydnee A. Nelson was milked and teethed on the classical art of literature. Nelson’s parents had them and their two brothers listening to audio recordings of books like Redwall (Brian Jacques), Little Women (Louisa May Alcott), and Eragon (Christopher Paolini). With appetite whetted, Nelson proceeded to devour young adult fiction like Artemis Fowl and Half-moon Investigations (Eoin Colfer), horror novels like Salem’s Lot (Stephen King), and absolute classics in the fantasy genre from Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien) and The Chronicles of Narnia (C. S. Lewis).
From an early age, Nelson was making up stories in the backyard of their parent’s home alongside their older brothers and scribbling in tiny journals pretending to be an author signing the book for their fans. For as long as they can recall, they have dreamed of sharing their stories with the world.
