In the early 50's when I was a new wife and young mother, I began writing poetry about my life on matchbook covers or whatever scraps of paper that was available at the time to capture my thoughts. Many of these were lost thru the years. I continued to write, and my daughter Susan encouraged me to organize and publish my poems for the enjoyment of my 7 children,19 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchlidren.
