Nigel Hillier has been a professional photographer since leaving the Newport Documentary Photography course in 1989. The 2 year intensive course was directed by Magnum photographer David Hurn.
After a year travelling the world shooting stock pictures he was quickly signed up by Getty Images who have since placed his images with hundreds of publications and advertising campaigns worldwide, Including; Virgin, Microsoft, Barclaycard, Sainsbury`s, Conde Nast and many more.
He currently divides his time with work for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Financial Times, Red, Grazia and organisations including Sainsbury`s, Barclaycard, The Children`s Society, Bettys of Harrogate.
He also works in the film, tv and fashion industries with individual actors and models and with the BBC, Sky, Channel 5, 5tv and Pathe.
